Click in my grip

I have a full sized Griptilian. When i first got it i loved it, but the more i used it the more i noticed that there is a rattle or "click" near the pivot. I also noticed that it doesn't take too long for the blade to start to wiggle. At first i would just tighten the pivot screw but after about 25 or 30 opening and closings it is loose again. I thought that a bit of crazy glue or even clear nail polish might take care of the problem, but i thought i would bring it up here first. Thanks for any advice you guys have.

Use Blue loc tite don't use crazy glue for sure. Does the click go away after you tighten the pivot screw?

use loctite to keep your pivot screw from loosening, and the rattle is the stop pin.

Use blue loctite on the pivot screw. I'm assuming the click you are talking about is the one heard when the blade is about 30° out of the handle. The click when opening and closing the knife is normal and is part of the axis lock mechanism. It may decrease over time or even disappear but it is completely normal, you have nothing to worry about.

The click in question is heard when the knife is closed, and is not heard when the pivot screw is tightened. I 'll try the blue lock tight. Thanks for the advice.

Like I said before, the click is the stop pin. The stop pin in a lot of Benchmades is not screwed into the liners, rather its machined for each end to fit into holes in the liner. When the knife is assembled, the tolerances don't allow the pin to fall out but do allow it to turn and rattle. When the blade is open it braces the stop pin, eliminating the rattle. When the blade is closed you can shake the knife and hear the rattle because there is nothing "holding" the pin. When you tighten the pivot screw down you sandwich the stop pin between the liners even more, bracing it and eliminating the rattle.

It could be the stop pin.
Or it could be the springs?
I recently (last week end) worked on a full size grip with a very similar problem. When I first disassembled the knife I could find no reason for the rattling/clicking noise it was producing when assembled. The stop pin wasn't loose at all. So, I proceeded to make new g10 scales for the knife. Once the scales were completed and the knife was reassembled.....the clicking/rattling noise was back? After a couple of disassembles and reassembles I found the issue. When the knife was bumped or shaken the omega spings would rattle in place. Bouncing back and forth between the liners and the scales?!
I've seen and disassembled a lot of axis lock knives. But, I had never seen that. This did not effect the function of the springs in anyway.
So, the easy fix for me was to remove the scales and put a little (very little) Militec grease in the hollow cavities in the scales where the springs reside. Not a glob of grease. I just lightly coated the surface reassembled and Tada......no more clicking/rattling.
