Can anyone recommend something comparable to the William & Henry Clip Cases that will fit a Benchmade 850 Mel Pardue Gents Folder? I would like an elegant-looking case that will clip onto my pocket. If I can't find that my next choice would be a dressy leather belt case of the appropriate size. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I had intended to buy the largest size of W&H Clip Case, but a manager at the KnifeCenter told me the 850 would be too wide to fit into any of them.

You might check out Allen Elishewitz's website and inquire about one of his clip cases. A number of his models are pretty wide and thick.

I just tried the smaller of the Elishewitz "Kangaroo" cases with my 850. It fits, but it's very loose. The knife may bounce out of the case. I wouldn't recomend it.

Boker sells a nice looking black leather sheath for their folders. It fits their Titan 1 and Titan 3, as well as their larger Titanium handled ceramic blade. Those are all around 4 1/2 inches closed. It can be had for around 15-20.
Here's a link for a place that sells it. It is item number 90039.

I used to have an 850 pearl, and it was the most beautiful knife I'd ever had. Never had the nerve to carry it, though.
