Clip color and edge Corralation on the Gunting?

All the CE Guntings I've seen have silver clips.
All the PE Guntings I've seen have black clips.

Is this on purpose?

On the Drones I've seen both black and silver....

On the CRMIPT I've only seen silver.

No so. My EDC, which I have in my hand, has a plain edge and a silver clip. I also have 2 PE numbered Guntings, both with black clips. My trainer has a silver clip. I originally assumed that the numbered Guntings had black clips, and that subsequent ones had silver. I prefer the silver. Since the "ramp" is so big and visible, the black clip doesn't really enhance concealability, So I'd just as soon have the silver.

Back from Minsk last night:
no correlation..between model & clip color
WE did sliver..People wanted black..Sal & Spyderco got really cool black chrome stuff..then people wanted silver again..
go figure...of course..
so they use what's there..
ROFL..

I have SKUNKWORKS bead blast mine flat grey anyways...
