Clip hole thread

I just got my hands on a Mach 1 and it is a sweet piece...one thing bothers me though - the clip is mounted so an inch of the knife shows from my pocket. I want to mount it higher. Does anyone know the drill and tap size?

Hmmm, think you'd need to contact Emerson directly for that one, unless you know a machinist who could have a look at the knife and tell you of course !

Thanks...I will email Emerson..I have a drill press and taps...

Trader 1:
Drill bit for tap is #49 (073)
Drill bit for clerance #44 (086)
Tap is a 2-56
