Clip holes off center?

Anybody had issues with their 21 clip holes being off center? By off center i mean, when i go to remove my pocket clip, the screw strips on the way out due to the hole on the clip being slightly off from the threads in the handle. Inserting a new screw goes in fine, but having removed the clip once to see what the knife was like without it, and the second time having to remove it because the clip bent out, i'm on my 3rd clip screw. It's a large carbon fiber 21, just interested in knowing if anyone else had an issue with this. No damage to the threads or clip, just the softer screws.

I believe that is done purposefully to cause galling and extra lateral pressure to the thread to ensure the screw doesn't back out. I just makes it "stiff" so it can't move on its own, a clip screw is expected to be largly static so that method makes sense, IMO. There is always times one may need to remove the clip screw but those times will be few and far between next to the rest of the hardwear. :)

I've removed and replaced mine on yearly cleaning and noticed the slight offset. I've had no problems with the screw. The way I understand it, the clip is designed to be removed and replaced for cleaning or for carry w/o clip. Contact CRK and see what they say.

I have the same issue on my Small Starbenza. I thought I was the only one. No problems on my Small Regular.
