Clip idea

I was fondling my new orange EMT-blade Remote Release, and I started thinking... How about a replacement clip for the regular knives? A remote-release type setup would be too complicated, but it would be easy enough to make a Snap-It type that would screw into the normal clip location. Same goes for any other attachment ideas - just screw it in to the same old place. Well? Good idea, or crazy rambling?
