I got a BNIB orange para 2 and all was perfect except the pocket clip.....

The clip had pretty significant gauges in it and there are about 3 of them all together about 2mm long and decently deep. They are definately from the factory though. Will this be replaced under warranty and do they send the clips out or do I have to send the knife in?

Thanks for the help in advance

The dealer should be able to get a replacement clip for you.

If all else fails or if you don't want to try dealing with the customer service/warranty dept you can buy one from the Spyderco Factory Outlet Store:

I just purchased a black replacement clip for my standard Para 2 to replace the stock silver clip so it would not stand out so much in my pocket. I believe it was $6.99 and $2.00 shipping for a total of $8.99. I ordered it on Sat morning and today, Mon, I saw that they had charged my CC so I expect that it's been shipped already. They were quick and easy to deal with.

I've been thinking about getting a black clip for my orange para2 just because i prefer the blade over the polished.

I was able to fix my issues. I just bought a nib s30v para 2 to edc and put the junked up clip on it and put the new clip on the orange cts-xhp one :D Problem solved
