Sooo… long time lurker here for about 15 years… but here’s my first post.
I have a question that might seem really dumb to try, however I I just wanted some second opinions and possibly get some alternative options.
I have traditionally always carried a knife in a sheath, mostly a 112, yes I love my ZTs, Spyderco, Microtechs, etc, however I also love my old school knives.
More recently I have found myself in a situation where my job doesn’t want me to wear a knife in a sheath, well…. All my Bucks, which is what I prefer to use at work, are clipless, except my old 442, but that was my fathers and I don’t wanna use that for work…
Question is, I have a few 422’s from the late 80’s early 90’s which obviously doesn’t have a clip, but that plastic looks like I could easily drill without compromising the integrity of rest of the knife, has anyone else done this? Is this just a really bad idea?
Thanks for your time,
Joseph
