Clip mount on G-10 Navigator

Does the G-10 Navigator have metal liners, or perhaps a single liner? I don't believe liners would be necessary for strength on such a small knife, but I'd like to know whether the clip screws are anchored in something other than the G-10 scale.

Thanks.

No liners. There is a metal spacer for strength though, like the Calypso series.

Clip screws, unfortunately, just go into G-10. I stripped the threads in one of the clip holes of my Navigator. The other two holes still hold their screws tightly, so I just put lock-tight in the bad hole and the clip is plenty secure.

I certainly prefer that clip screws are anchored in metal, but I have to say that the little Navigator is one of my favorite daily carry knives.

Thanks, Cerulean. I might have to get me a Navigator. I've handled the Almite version, and I like it, but I think I'd like the lighter weight and texture of the G-10 handle better.
