Clip on attachment with hard sheath

I have this style in my cheaper knives including CS peacemaker.i am pretty sure Moira knives use it as well.

When out in the forest I find myself changing where I attach the knife, I like it. This option is unavailable to most other combinations eg they hang from your belt, end of story, attach to a spot on your rigging, end of story etc

My clip on is sometimes outside my front pocket, inside front pocket, back pocket, shirt pocket, waist, vertical, horizontal, belt, clipped to my vehicle sun visor......etc, etc.

With a hard sheath this is such a great way to store a knife. It is fast becoming my favourite way to carry an EDC fixed blade and any general working fixed blade.

I do not see this combo in more expensive knives, I don't understand why.

Opinions?
 
You can attach a G-Clip to most any kydex sheath. There are also a number of spring steel clips available for kydex sheaths/holsters as well. In addition, some custom kydex makers offer a clip as an option.
 
Would it be possible to post a pic ? I don't have a clue to your reference and would like to know.
 
Lots of people find an old cell phone case with a solid clip and sew it to their leather sheath. My dad did this to his knife.
