Several years back I gifted an Orange 426 to an old friend who is visually impaired. He's loved the knife over the years because it is light, rugged, and easy for him to see if it puts it down while working. He ALWAYS wears it, and uses for fishing, gardening, pruning, and countless other outdoor activities. I'm looking for a sheath that can safely hold the knife without fear of it slipping out. One that he can clip to his pocket or waist of his pants. I offered to get him a Bucklite with a pocket clip but he is in love with this particular knife and wasn't interested. A frugal old Vermont guy that likes what he likes. Right now he's carrying it in its original black nylon sheath clipped to his waist or outside his pocket using a carabiner. I am looking for a sheath with a clip on it that will attach securely. Lately he's taken to wearing suspenders full time, so one that attaches to a belt won't work. He's too basic of a guy to use an ornate leather sheath, and would prefer the heavier nylon like the stock sheath or maybe kydex. I saw a kydex model on Ebay that would probably work but figured I'd ask here. It would have to be inexpensive, or he'd get mad at me. The one on Amazon is $30, and I think I could get away with that. Solid clip, secure holding, and functional enough for a man that is legally blind to access easily. Ideas?

And don't you just love it when you give a knife to a friend and it becomes a part of him?
