clip or no clip

That is the question;

When carrying your Sebenza in the sheath do you have the clip on or off?

Just curious!

I always keep the clip on my small Classsic Sebenza. Mostly it is clipped on my rfp. Sometimes it is deep in the rfp when in certain situations.

I go clipless and always in the leather sheath. Chris Reeve's sheaths are a little roomy and stretch out to where the knife falls out after a couple months. I make my own, I'm not great with leather but mine last about two or three years each. Not pretty but it keeps the keys and change from scratching the handle. Back when clips were first introduced, I had a clipped knife. (I forget which brand) I lost it and since then I can't ever seem to bring myself to trust them. YMMV Later GDWTVB

i go clip, it is easier to grab it from the side of your pocket then to have to reach all the way down into your pocket to grab it. (this is good in a dangerous situation)

booooooooooo clip! feels terrible in the hand!

i carry my sebby in a sheath because it is my "backup" knife and i already carry an sng clipped in my pocket.

On. I don't take the clip or lanyard off of any of my Sebenzas even though I don't use the clip. I just keep 'em the way they come to me.

I always keep the clip on. Don't use it at work, the Seb just lays in my pocket, but after work when the jeans are on it's always clipped in my right front pocket in that little "watch pocket".

I only occasionally use a sheath, a "pancake" style the CR made for the Large about 5 years ago, so the clip stays on. I use a left hand version and most of the time the knife is clipped in my LF pocket as close to the belt buckle as I can get it. That way the clip can't snag on stuff so easily.

Have you tried it without the clip?

The ergos are better...if you haven't tried using it without the clip...don't...Just sayin'...
