I finished my 8th knife today and yes it's made from a file again. I do plan on ordering some steel from Aldo this week though.

The blade is made from a farriers rasp and the handle is Ebony. Stainless steel guard with stainless, brass and black G10 spacers.

Blade length is 8.25" and overall length is 14". The clip is sharpened. A satin finish on everything (metal and wood). A nice white hamon that is tough to photograph but ya can see it a little better in the video below (if I can figure out how to post it).

The handle is held in place with a brass nut that is recessed into the back. The handle is also about a 1/16" proud of the spacers all the way around.

I ran out of leather so I still need to make a sheath for it so for the pics I used the sheath that I made for my last knife.

8th knife?? wow.
I like what you're doing with the rasps, instead of trying to make full-tang designs fit them.

Wow, maybe my favorite rasp knife yet. The sheath is the real star of the show here, though. Nice work!

Thank you Gentlemen for the comments. I'm glad ya enjoy the knife.

Have a Happy 4th of July!
