Picked one up on the exchange because I was very curious to try it out - really liking it so far and its just an awesome looking blade. Added some ESEE-5 grips and its perfection... Tan canvas should be standard, IMHO.

Really just posting because I was blown away at the tip of this blade and wanted to share a pic - check out the point on this sucker!!! Will get into the woods this weekend to try her out.

Looks great!! I wonder if it is as effective for batoning? This is custom not straight from Esee right?

How is the fit with the Esee5 scale. That was what I really wanted but Jeff wasn't able to do it when I bought the Esee6. So just buy the scale from Esee and swab it in with some loctite?

Want to trade with a new Esee6? :)

thanks

the clip point is available from the factory, the scales from the 5's fit pretty good too. for battoning it works really well, it does chew up the batton but so what your gonna burn it anyway.

you could always use a piece you want to chop in half as a baton and get double duty out of it

its holding up great. just what you would expect. snapped a couple of pics for you.

Awesome! I just picked up the 6 in clip point as well! Very impressive knife.

I hadn't thought about putting the 5's scales on them, but I certainly will now after looking at this.

Canvas is sexy, but I still prefer the linen. You guys are gonna make me buy a third 6, I know it....
