Here is a clip pointed hunter that I just finished up for a customer. The blade is forged from W2 and is 5 1/4" long with an over all length of 10 1/4". The handle is desert ironwood. It is much more colorful than I was able to capture in the photo. The guard is nickel silver, bronze, nickel silver.
I hope you enjoy.

I love hunters in that size range and the handle contours on this one look great.

Very nice!

Perfect, great looking hunter.Looks like it would fit in the hand very well.

I sure wish you could tell me that one was being mailed to Belleville. I love it.

That is one real sweet knife for one very lucky customer. Thanks for sharing the pic Craig, and keep those beauties coming!

Damn, another beauty --- love that long, thin guard. The rest of the blade isn't too bad either. ;) :D

Now THAT'S ONE SWEET HUNTER!!!!!!
I really love that blade and handle integration... however, I do have to admit I'm not overly fond of that style guard... But.... it does appear to both be aesthetically and practically perfect on this knife...
Hmmmm.... Ever think you'll make it to the OKCA Show in Eugene anytime in the near future? I'd love to see your stuff up close and personal... They just keep getting better! :D

I had to have another look.
Craig that temper line is a killer, just great!!!!
I also like the guard very much.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the great comments guys!
I find myself etching more and more of my blades to get the temperlines to really stand out. I really enjoy the temperlines on knives.
I have actually thought about the OKCA show but it is quite a haul for me.

Ha! The way you drive, you could make it in an hour or two. ;) :D

Yo Danbo - if Craig can get here in an hour or so... why not hitch a ride and come on out, too!!! LOL!!!

Craig... would you entertain the notion of duplicating the above blade without a guard and a slightly different handle??? Dang, if you were to visit the OKCA show... that'd be the piece I might have to set my sights on!
