This one is for rooikat, with a 5 3/4" clip point blade, the first one like it. The handles are ebony. This one would work well as a zombie slayer, or for the Mothman ;) This is also the first knife I used my new scotchbrite belt on, it really makes a difference in the final finish!

Wow! That looks better than I expected! I'm not a fan of clip points really. That looks like a great knife though. I'd be proud to carry one.

Thanks!
I am a major fan of the bowie, and of clip points.

I feel John's scout is an outstanding survival/military/woods knife, which I was only able to 'improve' to my tastes by adding the clip point, and the natural handle material.

The overall look of the knife did not change much, due to the dark nature of the ebony, but the tasctile sensation should be a little warmer, compared to micarta.

I also opted for a black leather sheath instead of the original's kydex, for the same reason.

Outstanding job, John.

Looks awesome John. I like the looks of that Scotchbrite finish

I like a shorter clip point if thats the right way to say it. Of course than can be be arranged.:D Good looking knife. I bet you will love it in use.

It's here!
As soon as I am able, I will post some pictures.

The knife is EXACTLY as I wanted it. Thanks, John!

Badass blade! Enjoy putting it through its paces.

I can't wait to get my Stomper in the near future. John said he's going to start grinding it out sometime this week!
