Hello guys,

I have already emailed CRK regarding this problem, and im currently waiting for the reply (Its hard to explain because of my english).

I would like to ask you, if you did noticed that the clip in your sebenza can be 'moved' after the screw has been tightened all the way down. I mean, if the clip is perfectly placed, doesnt move, but if you try and force it a bit, it can move side to side (left-right). Im not sure if thats a problem on my sebbie, or if you all can do the same with the clip, so thats a normal thing.

Thanks!

Antonio

I can get a small amount of movement when pushing the bottom of the clip side-to-side. Very little movement. It has never really bothered me. But then again, I almost never use the clip.

Thanks guys!!! Its a normal thing then. Now I will wait to get a new screw and a new clip, and also the spacer :( I destroyed the screw.

Take your clip off, and smooth some epoxy to the underside of the small portion that contacts the handle, and around the edges with a toothpick. You should have just enough that it appears to be a sheen and nothing more. Let the epoxy cure per the instructions. Then re-attach the clip and screw it down. Your clip movement will stop per the "gumminess" of the epoxy between the two ti surfaces.

I've done this with every clipped knife I've ever carried, as they all can develop some side-to-side movement due to tolerances, etc., but the Seb over time can definitely develop this as some of mine have and here you have the fix.

There is no play at all in any of my Sebenza clips - just flex in the clip itself as I apply rotational force.

Seb clips tend to "rotate" in the socket, as it were. That's why the little dab of epoxy, allowed to cure before re-attaching the clip, really does the job.

Maybe just me, but I couldn't tolerate the clip movement on an otherwise rock-solid folder!

Mine doesn't move at all. I've only had it a month though so maybe it's something that develops over time.
