How do you like the Sebenza clip with the bend in the middle.I didn't know what it was for until I got it and put it in my pocket. It gives a really secure ride with out being hard to draw the knife.Has Spyderco ever thought of adding this feature to thier clips.

Don't own a Sebbie, and have never had the opportunity to handle one. None of the photos of them on the CRK website show the clip side, only drawings. From those, it looks fairly similiar to the Spyderco clip, a little "flatter" to the knife perhaps, and less of a "lip" at the open end to possibly catch on something. Looks to me like it might work better with thin clothing, but possibly be a problem with really heavy pants. Frankly, on the basis of those drawings, I'd worry about the single attachment point and what appears to be surface mounting and wonder how they keep it from rotating.

Perhaps some pictures for comparison might be in order. What exactly makes it better?

On the other hand, the Mnandi clip is a thing of beauty, I'd kill for a Kiwi sporting one of those. :D

I worried about that too before I saw one but the clip top is recessed in the scale. The bend in the clip sort of snaps over the top of the pocket and works well on thick and thin clothing.

I love that extra bend that CRK started using on their sebbies. Its great for jean pockets with the thick ridge on it.. cuz it keeps it extra secure.. its like having a double pocket clip. I've never seen any other manufacturer out there have a clip like that... though i have seen similar on non knife stuff.. i can't remember what tho.. maybe it was a pen? hmm..
