Clip screws on Rookie..

I want to switch the location of the clip on my Rookie, but I can't get the screws to budge. I've stripped the heads a little bit, but they aren't that bad yet. Does anybody have any advice on getting them loose?

By the way, I love the Rookie. It is probably my favorite knife purchase all year. It's a great size, and even though it is smaller than what I usually carry, just having a Spyderco on me makes me feel safe. Great design. Now I just need to get a stainless Police model to go with it.

Chris.

Heat the screw head with a lighter, hair dryer or heat gun. Be carefule not to overheat it!!

Should not need too much but you can heat it for a bit, then try it, if not heat it a bit more and so on...

If you were not the first owner and someone else put orange lock-tite on it then you will need to get it up to 500 degrees but I doubt it. They're probably just tight and a little heat will do you. :D

...Also, MAKE SURE that you are using a screwdriver that FITS the screws perfectly.:).
