hello folks,
I have several spyderco's, and after time, the black coating on the clips come off. The clip is on the outside of your pants, so it is only natural it would wear off.
The thing I do next is polish the clip completely, most of the time along with the blade. A polished clip rides easier in your pants and does wear out pants.
It truly is a nice sight, a polished clip, but I can't polish the screws. I was wondering if I could get some screws like on the Endura '98 or Native with CPM 440 V blade. But then without the coating or bueing, off course.
B.T.W. did anyone ever noticed those screws have different colours? the one on my endura has a mat black coating, the one on my native has a shining coating, and a dark - green reflection. Any explanation?
Greetz & thanks, Bart.
