Came into the subforum earlier and opened a new thread, then forgot what i was going to post. Don't you hate when that happens! Anways, i remember now. What is the clip tension on the sebenza 21 supposed to be like? Is it supposed to be hard to push into your pocket and really tight, or loose enough to clip into your pocket with enough tension that a light pull won't move it? I've bent my clip out once already and had to bend it back, and i remember reading on here somewhere that with the lock engaged, you should be able to see a small space between the lock bar and clip. Mine isn't like that but the pressure on the lock bar when opened is minimal.

I don't think there's any rule about it. The clip is pretty easy to take off to bend a little and adjust the tension. I like it so that with knife open and the lock bar engaged, the clip still presses against the lock bar a little. My first sebenza, there was a just visible space between the engaged lockbar and clip, which made a sort of annoying vibrating twang sound when opening the knife.

Yeah, my knife somehow strips the screws when they come out of the knife, so i don't ever take it off. If i could remove it without going through a screw everytime i remove the clip i'd play with it a bit more lol. It seems the clip hole is a hair off which causes the screw to grind against it the whole time it's coming out.

It strong backs the lockbar to some degree but i have never had an issue with it....i have tensioned lockbars both in and out to tune a knife.

That sounds like something you should contact CRK about. It definitely shouldn't be doing that.

It doesn't bother me too much as i don't want to or need to take the clip off. I had bent the clip super tight but then while it was attached to the knife bent it out a bit to ease off the tension. It still rests on the lockbar when open and has the amount of tension a paperclip would if bent out, maybe a bit more.
