I recently took the clip off my Native and I feel it really improved the ergonomics. Using the choil, the curves of the FRN body feel great, much better with the clip gone. It's pretty comfortable to carry deep in the pocket too. I've been carrying it with me a lot more recently, lately it's been all SAKs for me but now the Native has found its way back.

Not to blow a booger in your pudding, but I'm not sure why that is? Considering the shape a closed hand has while gripping a Native puts the clip in the 'gap' beween palm and scale. At least for me. If it works for you great! I know I wouldn't notice the difference. For me, a benefit of going clipless would be not having the knife yanked out of my pocket accidentally, which occassionally happens.

Now i'm thinking of adding a fob to mine, and carrying deep pocket...
