Lets talk folder clips!

I am currently working on more clips for folders, here are my plans...

- I'm hoping to release a "standard" 3 hole deep carry bent clip that will fit many knives including my RF1 Framelock. These will be available for anyone to buy.

- Also in the plans is a "2 hole inline" deep carry bent clip for my RF2 and recent friction folders.

- I'm hoping to release a much thicker carved clip in the two hole inline pattern, it will stick out a bit more but be easy to clip on thick jeans pockets and the like

If you already have a DFK folder I'll work something out for anyone who wants another clip. I am currently doing the slimmer carved clip and my bent clips are from USAKnifemaker so I hope this is a big upgrade! :D

Most of my newer designs will have the 2 hole inline pattern so these clips will give three possible clip options for the same knife.

These are a little ways off but I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as i go. I am really excited about more clip options!!!

lol Rolf!

IMWILSON - textured does sound like a cool option, I have been looking into embellishment techniques lately... good idea!

I am leaving the design shape itself simple, I used to sell a lot of handmade money clips back in the day and the traditional one works nicely. The Ti will rock, I can't think of a better material!

A clip with grip ergonomics as a major factor in the design would be cool beans brother. You know...a knife that is actually more comfortable with the clip rather than a knife that is more comfortable without the clip.

^ I agree! The clip works nice as an area for leverage when opening. I have a Benchmade with a finger groove strategically placed into the clip, it works pretty well.
