It hasn't been right in a long time, but it's getting worse and worse. It's about 10 minutes off right now.

Spark, I know it's supposed to automatically adjust itself, but that obviously isn't happening.

I made a thread about this a week ago. At that time it was about 8 minutes off and I said then that I thought it was worsening.

The clock is getting worse. It is about 11 minutes out right now. A few weeks ago it was only out by 5 minutes.

Does anybody really know what time it is?

Does anybody really care about time?

Sorry, but somebody had to say it. :D

Einstein taught us that time is relative. Apparently, the new server is so fast that time slows down for it.

I was in the studio with them when they recorded that. And yes, there was a clock in the studio.

Oh, for God's sake, Gollnik, that was the early 70s - I don't think anybody had even heard of a click track then.

Click tracks have been the norm in multi-track recording forever.

For those who are wondering, a "click track" is a recorded metronome. In multi-track recording, the first track recorded is usually the "click track." Each artist then listens (with headphones) to the click track as he records his part. This allows multiple artists to record separately or to record multiple takes and when when all of these tracks are mixed down, the tempo on each will be the same. Without a click track, the first artist may record at 70 beats/minute (for example). The second may try to record at 70, but get 71 instead; it's not much of a difference, but it will make mixing the two tracks nasty.

The click track is all about time, as you can see. So, it would be wonderfully ironic is that specific song was recorded using a click track.

It's up to 13 minutes now.

FWIW- A server that can't keep the correct time probably has much more serious problems.

Spark needs to remove his own ISP from his SPAM filter, they've tried to post a solution numerous times :D

Have you ever considered that maybe the BF.C clock is right and the rest of the world is wrong? Maybe BF.C is just in its own time zone, Daylight Knife Time, DKT.
