Whew...

Checked into my office at 7:30 this morning..I was busy clearing my desk..Faxing the memos...making memos out of faxes..you know typical office stuff...I suddenly notice that my Large Dbl thumb Lug EDC Sebbie is not clipped into my pocket??? What the heck?? I check all over my desk...I check the bathroom...Down stairs in the kitchen..My car...everywhere??? Its gone... :mad: Where in the heck is it...

as a last ditch effort I decide to check the bag of trash that I had carried out for ...I walk out to the trash can just as the Garbage man is rolling up...I pull the bag out that I had put in the can and clipped to the outside of the garbage bag ...is my Sebbie...The bag had been heavy as I pulled the liner out of my office trash can...it bounced against my leg going down the stairs and the clip must have put a small hole in the garbage bag and as I hoisted the bag into the trash bin...the bag pick pocketed my sebbie as nice as you please..

I put the sebbie in my pocket and tossed the bag into the gargbage truck..and walked back to my office...

It would have been a crappy way to start the week....Glad I caught it in time...

Glad you got it. I no longer carry a seb clipped to my rear pockt but when I did there where a few occasions when it was hanging fron the lining of my coat. (hole ripped as you describe)
 
That was me getting back at you for the post you made about me in the addiction thread. Hope that'll learn ya' nots to mess wit us Joizy boys. :p
 
lost my small sebbie for about a week. went nuts trying to find it. tore house apart, went thru trash cans etc.

happy ending when I found small sebbie between seat and console in my landcruiser. must have snagged on seatbelt, pulling sebbie out of my pocket.

wheeeew...
 
Gotta watch out for those garbage bags. I had the same thing happen to me with a Ti CRKT M16.

If it happened to my Sebenza I think I might actually have broken down and cried.
 
Wheeeeeeeeew, THAT was a close one!! I am so glad that you got your beloved Sebbie back!!
 
Granted, it would have been horrible if you did lose your Sebenza, but, on the upside, had you gotten another to replace the one you lost, it would have been near exactly the same quality, maybe even better, because CRK is constantly updating and upgrading. :)
 
same thing happened to me one time with a benchmade, i was climbing over a rope and it slid up my pants and under the clip and i lost it for 3 hours, on my way back from fishing i went to climb over a rope again, and there it was hanging from a rope. Glad you found your sebbie. :D

As much as I hate the feeling of loosing a crk- loosing one of my guns is worse :eek: that'll really mess with ya...
 
Man I'm glad you found it. That same thing happened to me with a Calypso Jr. Of course that was much cheaper to replace than a Sebbie.

I remember reading a post from one of our forumites that lost his Mnandi in the dumpster. That sucks!
