Close encounters of the moose kind

Got this e-mail from my sister today. Not sure I'd be comfortable with nothing more that a glass window between me and the angry momma!

Hi everyone! We had a close encounter with a mother moose and her two babies in Park City last night at Kyle's dads house. This is the baby staring at us through the garage window while he was eating. He was just inches away from our faces! SOOOO cute. The mommy looked very angry!

I've had a run in with a momma and baby moose, and it's not something I'd care to repeat. The babies are very cute. The mommas are terrifying. They're kinda like hippos-except faster.

The big one can really wreck your day though . thats for darn sure... I love animals but if one of those are charging me I'm grabbing my NMFBM for a good throwing...

My brother just moved his family to Alaska and his kids had to learn "Moose Safety Rules" in school. They draw pictures of what to do when you see a moose in town. Take a look at the picture. I guess it can be pretty scary and they can be real mean - however cute they are!
