A dealer of ours had been begging for a long time for a short cutlass that was fast and light for the close quarter fights on stage. I have given it a few trys. Seems the narrow blade with a small little pommel and a simple guard is the favorite for stage. I just shortened our saber#4 guard and forged the tip out and gave a little curl. Toss a few facets on the pommel and did a little cross hatch on the knuckle bow with a chisel and there we go. Like I said in the title the blade is 24" and the handle is also shortened.
Seems to be popular at shows. Just a simple little cutlass. almost an over grown knife. What do you all think ?
