Close up before and after pix. What capture device are you using?

Looking for a somewhat cost effective(under a hundred bucks) device to capture good close up shots of the edge for before and after pix....I have an olympus e510 but it's lacking in the macro dept. My razor maxx takes better up close pix than it does. But it's not close enough to see the scratch pattern.

I got a 30x and 60x illuminated loupe from amazon for like $7. It's not perfect, but it works pretty dang well for the price. I took this picture just by holding the loupe up to my cell phone camera

I picked up a Veho usb microscope last week. It's alright I s'pose, but for $65 yo can't complain.

same edge. 80grit on a lineman's skinning knife.
