Given the time it can take to get steel made, we're running out of raw material. Our process is out of whack due to an imbalance caused when we went down a person a year ago and now Ben is here and we're sailing through material. A recent assessment of our work flow here shows I need to make an adjustment to our upcoming schedules and I need to get material on order now.
I think I'd like to order materials for next years "return to the classics" rather than a new pattern. And the material for Lorien's Kukri.
Rather than start a bunch of pre-orders (too many is a problem, it will get messy) I will start a thread with a poll and let you guys tell me what patterns to order steel for. That thread will also give me an idea of how much material to order. We'll pick the most popular and start a pre-order for it and then plan on running the other patterns after that one.
If this appeals to you and you would plan to participate, please let me know below what to put on the poll (three or four patterns) so we can vote on it. Established patterns only, no variations (no 16" light Behemoth chopper or 10 " potato knife etc.)
Think of this thread as a primary which will be followed by a vote. What do you guys want on the poll?
