I am not trying to start an argument, really !
But the closing of the "pookie" thread has me wondering : why ?
Reading between the lines, I gather P was a nuisance and a troll....but I am not familiar with the case so I am not sure.
Could I suggest that the moderator closing a thread makes a short announcement so we are all in the picture ?
I realize it was off-topic but it was closed....not moved.
I would have emailed the moderator but was not sure which one.

DEFINITELY no criticism intended...I am sure there was a good reason.

I don't know who closed it either but I know I would have if I had seen it in time.

As far as the reason it obviously had no knife content.

That satisfies my curiosity regarding the responses the person received from other members.

Frankly, I am surprised that Mr or Ms P has not been banned from posting ....one of the problems with anonymity, I suppose.

My suggestion regarding a notice from the moderator when a post is moved or locked still seems appropriate, though.
