If its ok with the mods I would like to pass on my Kurkri I could be wrong but don't remember a giveaway being done here . It has been used but has plenty of life left in it and its nice and sharp. The rules are simple you must have 50 posts in Bladeforums at the time of the drawing registered members can post once paying members can post up to 3 times . All I ask is that is that you post why you want it pictures of your favorite Cold Steel would be nice but not necessary . I will let this run for at least 2 weeks then pick a random post number . 18 and older please don't want anybody including me to get in trouble. Sorry my international friends U.S. Members only .

Here is my favorite CS knife...because they no longer make it & it is just plain wicked !!

I would like the Kurkri because I love the design & history of the blade design.
Thanks for the chance !

I'm in and thank you for doing this great GAW!

I've always wanted to try out the Kurkri Machete. I have a couple of other' CS machete's but the Kukri is a must have I think!

Thanks again and good luck all!

Can't pic a favorite CS but it would be between the Holdout and Voyager series.

Man I love that Spartan. Really nice job on that.

I've never had a Kurkri, or any chopper for that matter. I'd love to try one. :)

My favorite CS, far and away, is the mighty Mini Tuff Lite. It's one of my very favorite carving knives.

Here it sits proudly amongst some of my other carvers.

Thanks for the chance!

I am in, a kurkri would make a great woods blade and I have yet to try a Kukri style. Would like to see how it compares to a hatchet as it has a wider range of capabilities.

After thinking about it. If I had to say what my favorite Cold Steel Machete was it would have to be the original, discontinued 12" Barong. Not only one of my favorites but hands down the best value too.

It's size, balance and build quality (great handle) make it a real stand out. In hand it feels and handles more like a good 12" fixed blade then a machete.

Tough as nails and can handle a wide range of tasks. It's extremely versatile.

So, although I like many of the other CS machetes the 12" Barong would be my favorite.

I'd still love to see how the CS Kukri Machete feels in hand and handles. Seriously doubt there would be any disapointment.

Thanks again for doing this GAW and in this forum!

I'll participate...because I own a Jungle Machete and I think i'ts hard to find a better bang for your buck than a Cold Steel Machete.

I own one of those so do not enter me in. Just wanted to say that is generous of you! The winner will love that knife i guarantee it! Mine is getting cleaned up right now after going camping. :) GOOD LUCK ALL.

Thanks for the chance!

I've been eyeing a kukri for a long time. And, I need a longer blade to round out the collection (current biggest is 7 inches).

Just going to throw in my second chance here...2nd reason being that I think it's the coolest looking kukri with the big fat sweet spot.
