I am challenged on the pic posting... I took my small reg to 16 dps on my we when I first got it (sharpener). It works fine I don't think I will go that low again though. Cutting open a snuff can, envelopes maybe a strap or two is about the extent of it
About the hardest duty mine sees is when I forget to take it out of waistband and lay my blue jeans over a chair and it clatters out onto the floor (cringe).

The Chris Reeves one-piece range was said to be 13° per side, but a slightly rounded edge in my opinion, and even this wasn't enough for me: I think 10° per side is perfectly fine on a big knife, or on any small knife. I use 10° per side for wood chopping with no issues: It's a whole 20° inclusive: Not weak at all... 20° per side is just silly.
