I don't think Rob is still making knives, he had posted on BF a few years back. I was pretty close with Rob and haven't heard or seen him about in quite a while. If you have one of his Japanese styles, they were made from A2, not stain resistant. I'd just get some Flitz and give it a good rubdown, won't be like new but will be a good user.

Thanks for the reply. This one is going to take more than flitz I’m afraid.

I will search for another maker that can do it then.

Can anyone recommend a maker that can clean up the blade?
