As far as I remember HDs were only produced in black, green, and tan colors. There were around 30 knives made in each color.
Green HD was my first busse knife - maybe that's why I remember this. :)

I remember the same,


there were < 100 total ~ 30 of each combo blk, grn, tan. All Saber ground. The only flat ground ADs I recall are the BADs and they're .125"

I have a :foot: a black one ;)
 
The millies and the HD's are very close in specs,
There were even some black millies that came out of the BCS:cool:

I've always called them Millis. Milli Meaner, Milli AD, some call them Tweener Meaners, the ADs are always referred to as MADs, for what ever that's worth or means :confused:

What do the reference sights say ?

As for specs, all mine mic in ~.195, the HD's run ~.200 -.205
 
Thank you very much Mr. JimmyJones for clarify my confusions. I knew there was something special about this sterile muddy AD. I'm going to look for is bigger brother (Mili Meaner) in the near future to complete the set!!!

Was there a Muddy Warden ( I'm not into the muddies), that could add one more to your search :cool::D
 
Man that is a cool set. Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely look into the muddy GW. Hopefully 2010 blade has one of those muddy MS. Based on what I've seen so far the muddy coating on Busse blades are extremely smooth much better than other coatings.
