I'd take the plain edge, solely because I think a partially serrated edge takes too much away from the cutting edge. I feel the serrations only get in the way of things when trying to use the plain edge portion.

IMO the blade's not long enough on a mini of any model to warrant serrations. So it's my vote for PE on the BM mini.
