I would also say Manix. Delica is Japanese. The PM2 has been compared to the Tenacious a few times. The PM2 has a larger handle, but blades are somewhat similar. The Tenacious is a unique knife that is not just a Chinese version of a Golden knife. Being lazy and not looking up, the only US Spydie with a liner lock is the Military.
The Para is shorter, has a compression lock, larger lanyard hole and a 4-way pocket clip. What's the difference between the Military and the Paramilitary?
Sage 1?
Aah my bad. Still it is a very good quality upgrade to the tenacious. Is made in Taiwan.
Personally I don't really care where the knife is made, I care about the quality, materials used, as well as price.
Cheap quality goods would seem to be a good thing for all Americans. You can work at McDonald's and afford an amazing knife. That's a little bit of awesome. If made in America, sales would be lost, and the company providing the quality good hurts. What the company is doing really is the best solution for both itself and the people it sells to.
So we will see US made Tenacious? If you add choil to the knife, it will be a killer. The Yuan is getting stronger and Chinese and US taxes are also moving. In time, the Yuan will become strong enough that the cost difference won't be as critical to sales.
