Hi, not sure if anyone remembers me, I used to mess around with knifemaking a couple years ago while in school. I ended up joining the Army about 7 months ago, back on leave, but leaving on the 31st. I found a bunch of goodies that I think some of you may be interested. Some of it is pretty nice stuff. If you think you could use it, just pay shipping through PayPal, and I'll get it out today or tommorrow to you in the mail.
I have (some sizes approximate):
5" x 8" x 3/8" - Grey G-10
Couple pieces of wood that I don't remember what it is.
4" x 8" cut of water buffalo horn, might be serviceable, has some cracks in some areas though.
A couple blocks of black micarta I think it is.
6" x 6" x 3/8" piece of tiger maple
Stainless and brass tubing and pins
And something thats really cool.... I have 5 sets of reindeer antlers that I got from Belgium cut into slabs. I also have 4 sets that are in a solid piece that you can use for stick tangs and stuff like that. There probably other cool stuff too. Pretty much everything I find goes.
All the above stuff is shipped as a package, can't really take the time to split it up. <-- Stuff already spoken for! Dust collector still up for grabs.
I also have a Jet dust collector, 1HP, two bag system. It's pretty dirty, and the hose accidentally hit a quench bucket and sucked some vegetable oil up, but if you want to clean it out, have a blast, it's yours. I'm in Champaign. Keep in mind that I'll only be around till the 31st, so you'll have to pick it up on the 30th.
