Hi Guys,

Just finished up this kydex sheath for my Tali-Whacker. What do you think?

Eric and Trace Rinaldi gave me some great tips for my sheath making. Let me tell you, I don't know how I survived without a heat gun. Anyway, anyone have any tips? Also, suggestions on belt mounting? I was thinking mini Tec Lok, but now I'm not sure it's going to be big enough. I don't really feel like ordering a Tec Lok just for this project though. Kydex belt loop maybe?

Looking good Chief. If you think a heat gun does wonders, you ought to try the oven! :D Just be careful, the fumes a toxic man.

Nice Wiggum can't wait to start making some cloths for my own tali-wacker.

Chief,
Nice Job on the Kydex. Looks good.!

I have a couple of large tech-locks lying around. If you want one let me know.

Very nice!!

How many have you made!

BTW, that is quite an innovative design as far as retention goes. Good job!

WOW:eek: That looks really nice. I am trying to decide what sheath to put the one I'm keeping in. Can't decide between kydex or leather. I don't know if I could do the kydex myself though. That really looks good. You have a right to be proud of that:)

Thanks guys, just thought I'd share. I've make about a dozen sheaths so far, but only 3 usable ones. The rest went right into the trash. Kydex can be tough.

I can't take credit for the retention system or the sheath design since I've basically scoured BF looking for all the best sheath designs from Oku, Eric, cpirtle, Brown, Gundy, and everyone else and just copied them.

Anyone who makes these little buggers has a right to be proud of them, they're a lot of work.

Nicely done Chief! You crafty man you!

Andrew,

You have seen that done, just not as good a picture as Chief has posted.

Pretty good work ! Really, i like this kind of sheats. It is nice to see the sheat follows the bow of the blade. Congratulation.
