I've been throwing since I was 8 when my dad taught me....similar story for about all of use. However, a few years ago I bought some Dragons from ThrowZini and I love them. But here's the problem, if you noticed, almost all of the thrower pages and throwing club websites are either down or haven't been updated in the last 5 years!! I'm getting a concerned feeling here that the webmasters have lost interest in updating the sites and keeping new applicants from joining their clubs. I've tried almost every club site to find info on competitions for this coming year and I've got NOTHING so far. Can anyone tell me what clubs are still active and accepting members? I'm itching to start competing and meet more throwers for some rec. fun!! I'm in the midwest ( KY ).

We just rebuilt our site at www.akta-usa.com
We have a annual National Championship in South Carolina. There are afew more scattered across the country ,but none on KY.
There is no money in knife throwing and most of us do it for fun. We suggust that you form you own group in your area and then you can have a competition.

Bobby,
Thanks for the reply! I have been thinking of starting my own group locally and doubt it'd be much trouble with all the W.W. and Pioneer type festivals around. I wasn't looking to throw for $, hobbies are for fun right?!? I appreciate the update on the website too!

Thanks again,
Mike
