...it's a Hunter-Tracker VT-Var with some added survival features, inspired by my discussion with Robert Humelbaugh of Survival Sheath Systems.

Finished up the "survival" handle tonight!!

Man...I wish we were doin' this stuff years ago, but that's life ain't it? This Hawk' SO rocks! And I am TOTALLY loving the process of personally doing every aspect of these Variants!

Head gets final grinding features and heat-treated in the morning by yours truly.

OH!! Here's a pic of the handle!

Handle mounted survival kit features an inlaid Suunto compass (the Tomahawk head does not create deflection...the compass works correctly), WSI Firestarter, Photon Level 3 Microlight, and 550 paracord.

This kit should not replace stand-alone gear...however, as a back-up or a bundled package, it does the job...navigate your path, illumination is handy, chop your kindling, start your fire, practice knots with your cord....if needs be of course!
