I bought a CMTX5 a while back and after 2 weeks it wouldn't stay closed; the retaining tab wouldn't hold down the leaf spring. Fortunately my dealer allowed me to exchange it for an MTX2 (and cash of course). He said he'd never seen that problem before. Now I'm thinking of buying another one, hoping that mine was the exception rather than the rule. Has anyone heard of this problem before? My dealer also said that the CF CMTX5's he's seen tend to rattle when shaken, although the Micarta models don't rattle.
