I hit a local gunshow this morning after my martial arts class intending to pick up anohter AR-15 lower (which I did) and figured I'd also be on the look out for some knives too. So after the checking out tables and tables of your basic run of the mill knifes and having nothing spark my interest I found a Spyderco Co-Pilot in a box of knives marked $20 ea. So I check it out and its a clean SE early model with brass liners and only Spyderco and Seki Japan on the blade. Hand the guy $20 and clipped it next to my P'kal. I have a conference in Seattle at the end of the month so I think I'll take this one with me as my EDC since Seattle has some restrictive blade length ordnances. I may also made a kydex sheath and carry it as a neck knife. Overall Im pretty pleased with this little knife.

That's awesome. I love the older Spydies. For 20 dollars I think you did well. What kind of blade steel is it. I'm guessing something like ATS-55 or Gin-1.

I miss the days when I was able to carry my Co-Pilot with me on plane trips... :grumpy: Such a friendly little knife it is...

Nice find, Colt!
