I only own one spike hawk[vtac],the spike on that hawk is scarey long!!!!,good looking hawk though.JBEE

man thats a killer long spike

You got that right, With a Spike like that It'll work great for Deep penatration for a Battle Type Hawk, I think In Battle Hawk a Spike that's capable of taking out major organ's through the Chest area from the side & rear Is an Important factor, I'm gonna do a Native American type Custom Mod. on It, With some Beaded Buckskin and Sinew,

The curvature of the spike looks just right. I've run across a bunch where it looked like the spike's curvature was greater than the arc of the hawk's swing---which might impede penetration from what I've seen.

You know there only one way to "Beat A Politician", And that's with a "Big Stick", But I think a Spike Hawk would do a better job, You got to get It right though "The Spike Hawk Is Beautiful" It's the Polititions "That Are Pure Evil" !

Got this "Beauty" In the Mail Today, Well balanced & just feel's Good In the hand, Took me about 4 minute's of Stone work to get It shaveing Sharp, I'm going to see my Sheath maker In Fremont NE. In the morning to get a combo sheath & possible's bag made with a shoulder strap, Done In Braintanned Buckskin with some Native American Beadwork, I'll post some picture's when he get's It done,

Nice,very nice!

Thank's John, I'm gonna give the Handle two coat's of Boiled Linseed Oil, And then goona start work on the Beaded Braintanned Buckskin wrap that'll extend from just under the Hawk Head down 5", And for the Grip I'm going with a Sinew Wrap, It' gonna look great In the Beaded Braintanned BuckSkin Hunter's/Possible's shoulder bag I'm having made for It, Them I'm gonna do a Patina Finish on the Head, I sure like the Work you do, I was on your Site, And your Leather Work Is Unreal/Beautiful "And your Knive's and Hawk's are "Top of the line" !

Thank's Shore08, I sure am glad I picked up on this one, Maybe Steve will do a run on these "I'm sure they would'nt last long" I know I'd by another one,
