I described the hawk to Steve. He offered some great feedback & BAM!!
Here she is! A Bearded Skull Buster !!!
Am I gonna thow her? HHHHHmmmm,YYYYYeeeAaa, No! I would'nt dare to even think of her being tossed around...
She's going to a high speed swinger.:D Nawww, Not even that...
Okay, the truth is She's gonna be a beautyQueen. to be admired & then taken down to crack pecans this fall & winter. Then lovingly re-oiled and placed upon her velvet cushion.;)
Thank you Steve!!!
Jimmo

Hi Jimmo.
Buitiful hand made piece as usual .
I Bet Steve has already broken her in on a throw mate ,
congratulations on your new treasure ,
Chris

I know what you feel. I've thrown my damascus hawk only two-three times. And, yes - in the dirt. No, no.. no rocks in the dirt, I've checked!:D

Thats for throwing, on oher hand she felled few small dead pines and done some camp work. "Battle marks on the pattern" came along, but as long she's one piece, Im cool.

LOL...Yes! I knew that I was not alone on my feelings! If I had a Damascus hawk. I doubt that I'd be tossing from hand to hand. Let alone letting it taking flight !!!
It would take a zombie hoard home invasion. Before mine will be thrown, & only after I'd thown everything else including cans of veggies...;)
Thanks for the kind words.
Jimmo
