Has anyone puchased one of the LED lights being sold by Coast. I bought the one that is about the size of a MiniMag 2AA. It seems well built, time will tell with use. The only drawbacks are you can't adjust the size of the beam and the batteries maybe slightly expensive and hard to find.

They have some smaller ones that will fit in an Altoids box nicely.

I have always steered clear of Coast in the past but some of their products are starting to show some quality for being made in China.

will62, do these lights have a "constant-on" switch or do you need to keep you finger on a button/switch to keep them on?

They're made by Zwei Bruder in Germany. Imported by Eddie Bauer and resold by Coast. Can be found at Target stores under the Eddie Bauer name. And other stores under different labels.

In a review I read on amazon.com as well as a discussion with an employee at Karst Sports I learned that there have been problems with the on/off switch and some other issues. The Karst employee advised that there were better options available in the price range.

The good news is that the Coast Cutlery site states they are warranted for life. So, maybe not so bad in the end.
