Coated blades....

Hey, guys-I've never been a fan of knives with coated blades. I have removed the coating off a Becker Magnum Camp once with wet/dry sandpaper but it took forever. Anyone know of a faster way, perhaps with some type of chemical ? My son just bought me a Rat Cutlery 3 inch w/black coating on the blade. And, being me-I'd like to take it off. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, GliderMike.

Citristrip has been recommended.
Hydrochloric acid should do it, also.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot...plenty of strippers!
