Coated, Stainless Steel Survival/Combat Fixed Blade

I am looking for a fixed blade knife that I can deploy with and trust to perform survival tasks and use as a fighting knife.

I really like the Cold Steel SRK but I would like something with better edge retention and rust resistance. I looked at the san mai version of the knife but it has no coating.

Preferred Specs:
6-7.5 inch blade
Micarta Handles (Not Super Important)
Some belly, no tanto

Budget is around 200$, preferably less.

You are planning on combat knife fighting? With a Cold Steel SRK? Are they general issue? And are you training yourself, or is ROTC training you in kbiufe fighting?
