I picked up a sweeeeeeet little knife in December from this Ukrainian custom maker named CobbleBlade. It's called the PITBULL NANO. Cost was $195US with free shipping. It's kinda nessmuk-y, kinda skinner in profile. M390 steel (you can also choose 3V and maybe a tool steel or two), 2 3/4" blade, OAL 5 3/4". With the lanyard it fits the hand beautifully, the three-tone "tiger" scales are sublime, there're some really nice textures along the spine and tang, and it's razor sharp right out of the box. I've attached some photos to really get your juices flowing. I'm now seriously considering another of their designs, the STEALTH.
I raved about them in GBU, but here's the main paragraph from that post:
"We all know how crappy the service can be from some makers, but these guys were amazing. Their knives are 100% hand-made, they asked me exactly what I wanted, gave me a choice of steels, accommodated my requests, made custom scales, used mosaic pins after I said how nice they looked, answered all my questions quickly, provided a beautiful titanium bead for $30 (which they tied on with a paracord lanyard without being asked), provided a top-notch Holstex sheath, gave me regular updates during production (which only took 2 weeks), shipped ASAP for free, and followed me up twice asking about whether the knife had arrived."
