Cobra skin overlay on 8/9oz Hermann Oak leather. Saddle tan back with briar brown edging.

I would totally re-do the belt loop as it is pretty tight, but the sheath is nice other than that. I need to finish burnishing the edges too.

Sorry for the terrible pics.

This is super cool!!!!!! Tell more about the Cobra skin, please! Where do you find it? durable? Very cool! Matches the handle beautifully!

Thanks guys, I've been enjoying making sheaths quite a bit. This is my third sheath and I'm surprised at how comfortable it is while driving. I thought a dangler was necessary for max comfort, but I was wrong.

I get my skins from Dangerous Threads. I've got 8 different skins at the moment, including what I understand is fairly rare Karung, which feels more like shark to me. It's a light tan and would go well with any brown micarta or wood. Cobra isn't particularly durable, but I expect it to last for a few years. I have a wallet made from cobra and its held up very well for going on 4 years.
