Hi,

here it is one of my latest works
Bearing steel blade 122/32/4mm, zone tempered and etched in ferrum chloride
Handle: bronze, titan, cocobolo - 118mm. Mounted on M4 screw and epoxy.
Veg-tan leather sheath.

Very handsome knife! I love the overall proportions and materials & finish choices. There looks to be some interesting alloying (or carbide?) "effects" showing in the darker, top half of the blade.

Well, as I observe, wootz kind pattern usually appears on classic bearing steel (it is russian ШХ15 and ШХ15СГ), after being forged. This one also surprized me, especially interesting, that it didn't appear at all on hardened zone while etching.

Very nice! Love it!

I especially like the pommel detail
